The almost unexplored legacy of Gegham Ter-Karapetyan is important for completing the overview of the world of Taron and is absolutely worthy of scientific examination, since the collector was the bearer and connoisseur of that material.
The handwritten legacy of Msho Gegham, the self-made dialect dictionary stored in his fund, indicate a perfect knowledge of the Mush dialect, and the recorded ethnographic and folklore material, comments and notes are extremely important for modern scientists and ethnographers. Meanwhile, the name of Gegham Ter-Karapetyan is not even mentioned alongside other Armenian folklorists, although he was a student of G. Srvandztyants and a worthy follower of his teacher.
