About the Journal

"Memorable Dates" is the longest-running periodical publication of the National Library of Armenia, issued since 1947. In its early years, the calendar was published in poster format. Starting in 1957, it was issued quarterly under the title “Notable and Memorable Dates.” From 1995 to 1998, the "Memorable Dates" calendar was not published. In recent years, it has been compiled by the staff of the Bibliography and Library Science Department of the National Library of Armenia. It is now published once a year.

The publication assists libraries, mass media, information centers, and organizations in highlighting and commemorating anniversary events throughout the year.
