Abstract

Role of the Printing Museum to Pan-Armenian Jubilee Events (National Library of Armenia) The Printing Museum of the National Library of Armenia, as a center for the preservation of Armenian printed heritage, collects, exhibits and presents the 510-year history of Armenian printing. Preserving and promoting national cultural heritage is one of the Printing Museum’s strategic missions, along with the organization of events and exhibits to promote inter-museum relations on topics related to the history of printing, commemorative events, and memorable dates. The talk presents the Museum’s itinerary of anniversary events during the last five years (Hovhannes Tumanyan-150th anniversary, Komitas-150th anniversary, The First Republic of Armenia-100th anniversary, Yeghishe Charents-125th anniversary, etc.).

  • BALASAN HARUTYUNYAN, National Library of Armenia

    Balasan Harutyunyan graduated from the Faculty of Library and Information Resources of the International Scientific-Educational Center of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia in 2016. Since 2013, she is the Director of the Museum of Printing at the National Library of Armenia.
